Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and AI-driven optimisation
strategies that align with client business goals and broader digital marketing
objectives.
2. Conduct advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and intent mapping
using both traditional and AI-powered SEO tools to uncover growth
opportunities.
3. Perform technical site audits focusing on crawl health, Core Web Vitals,
structured data, and page experience; work with developers to resolve issues
efficiently.
4. Optimise on-page SEO elements - including metadata, schema markup,
internal linking, and semantic search optimisation - ensuring compliance with
AI-readiness, GEO (Google Experience Optimisation), and AEO (Answer Engine
Optimisation) standards.
5. Lead off-page SEO and digital PR campaigns, utilising AI-based link
analysis, authority scoring, and outreach automation to build high-quality
backlinks.
6. Manage and optimise Google My Business (GMB) profiles to enhance Local SEO
performance, ensuring accurate business listings, engaging updates, and strong
local visibility.
7. Develop and implement Local SEO strategies, including local keyword
optimisation, NAP consistency, citation building, and review management.
8. Monitor, analyse, and report SEO performance through Google Looker Studio,
GA4, Tag Manager, and Search Console, integrating AI-driven data insights and
trend detection.
9. Collaborate with content, UX, social, and paid media teams to align SEO
best practices with overall marketing efforts and improve the Search
Generative Experience (SGE) visibility.
10. Utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO, Frase) for content
optimisation, SERP intent alignment, and automated reporting.
11. Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI-driven search evolution,
local ranking factors, and emerging SEO automation platforms.
12. Mentor and guide junior team members in both traditional and AI-powered
SEO techniques, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
