Operations - Internship
LivNSense
The operations professional will be responsible for managing end-to-end
procurement, vendor management, asset management, and overall operational
activities of the organization. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations,
cost optimization, efficient vendor coordination, and effective asset
lifecycle management while supporting business continuity and growth.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Procurement management:
1\. Manage end-to-end procurement of goods and services including IT hardware,
software licenses, office supplies, and infrastructure
2\. Collect, compare, negotiate, and finalize vendor quotations within
approved budgets
3\. Create purchase orders, track approvals, and follow up on deliveries
4\. Coordinate and manage shipment of materials and assets within India and
internationally including the United States
5\. Handle logistics activities including packing, dispatch, courier or
freight selection, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation
6\. Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, courier services,
and customs agents to ensure compliant deliveries
7\. Ensure proper documentation for domestic and international shipments
including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels
8\. Optimize costs through strategic sourcing and logistics planning
B. Vendor management:
1\. Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and their performance
2\. Maintain vendor master records and agreements
3\. Verify invoices and coordinate with finance teams for timely payments
4\. Handle vendor escalations and ensure service-level compliance
C. Asset management:
1\. Procure, tag, allocate, and track assets across their lifecycle
2\. Maintain asset registers and conduct periodic physical verification
3\. Manage asset issuance, return, repair, replacement, and disposal processes
D. Office & operations management:
1\. Oversee day-to-day office operations including facilities, housekeeping,
utilities, and security
2\. Arrange travel, cab, accommodation, and food requirements
3\. Support campus drives, audits, meetings, and company events
E. Operations reporting & MIS:
1\. Maintain procurement, vendor, asset, and expense trackers
2\. Prepare periodic MIS and management reports
3\. Coordinate with finance and PMO teams for cost mapping and reporting
F. Compliance & coordination:
1\. Ensure adherence to internal policies and contractual or statutory
requirements
2\. Coordinate cross-functionally with HR, finance, IT, and PMO teams
3\. Provide documentation support for audits and management reviews
Key performance indicators (KPIs):
1\. Timely procurement and PO closure rate
2\. Vendor performance and SLA adherence
3\. Asset utilization and audit accuracy
4\. Cost optimization and budget adherence
5\. Operational issue resolution turnaround time
