Business Development (Sales) - Internship

As a Sales Intern at ZapUp, you'll work at the intersection of technology and
business growth, helping small and medium businesses adopt WhatsApp automation
to scale their customer engagement. This internship is designed for
individuals eager to learn SaaS sales, CRM, and automation-driven marketing,
while gaining real-world experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
You'll collaborate with the core sales and marketing team to generate leads,
communicate with business owners, and help them understand how ZapUp can
simplify and automate their communication workflows.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Identify and research potential business customers across industries such
as e-commerce, education, healthcare, and local businesses.
2\. Use LinkedIn, Google, and CRM tools to build qualified lead lists.
3\. Engage with prospects through WhatsApp, email, and phone to explain
ZapUp's features and value propositions.
4\. Conduct demo calls or product walkthroughs with potential clients.
5\. Assist in preparing proposals, onboarding guides, and follow-up
communication.
6\. Maintain and update lead data in the CRM to ensure pipeline accuracy.
7\. Support the onboarding process for new users by helping them set up
WhatsApp automation campaigns.
8\. Gather feedback from trial users to help improve sales messaging and user
experience.
9\. Coordinate with marketing, product, and operations teams for campaign
execution.
10\. Track daily and weekly goals and report insights to the Sales Manager.
Who You Are:
1\. Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and Hindi
(spoken).
2\. Curious about WhatsApp marketing, automation tools, and SaaS business
models.
3\. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of tasks.
4\. Comfortable using CRM, Google Sheets, and productivity tools.
