Climate Innovations Research - Internship

Energy Alternatives India (EAI) is seeking interns for its Climate Innovations

Research program. This internship focuses on identifying, analyzing, and

evaluating high-impact climate innovations and startups - both in India and

globally - that are shaping the future of sustainability and decarbonization.

Interns will assess emerging solutions across domains such as renewable

energy, carbon management, sustainable materials, electric mobility, circular

economy, and green finance, examining them from technological, environmental,

and commercial perspectives.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1\. Identify and track Indian and international climate startups and projects

across diverse sectors such as clean energy, waste management, carbon capture,

green hydrogen, and sustainable agriculture.

2\. Analyze the technology readiness, scalability, business models, and

investment potential of selected climate innovations and startups.

3\. Evaluate each innovation's potential contribution to decarbonization,

energy transition, and resource efficiency using available data and

sustainability metrics.

4\. Conduct focused research on emerging innovation areas - such as battery

technologies, carbon markets, bio-based materials, and circular economy

models- to develop insight reports and case studies.

5\. Assist the consulting team in mapping innovation ecosystems, benchmarking

technologies, and providing insights for strategic advisory projects.

6\. Work with EAI's research and strategy teams to synthesize findings into

actionable insights for internal studies and client engagements.

7\. Prepare structured reports, briefs, and presentations summarizing key

innovation trends, company analyses, and sectoral opportunities.
