Gardener/Horticulture - Internship

The gardener/horticulture internship at ILIF Hotels and Resorts offers a

unique opportunity for nature enthusiasts to gain hands-on experience in

creating and maintaining lush, green environments for the resort. As an

intern, you will assist in designing and maintaining the hotel's landscaping,

ensuring the grounds are vibrant, healthy, and visually appealing. This role

will give you practical exposure to horticulture, plant care, and landscape

management within the hospitality industry.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Plant care & maintenance:

1\. Assist in planting, pruning, and maintaining a variety of indoor and

outdoor plants.

2\. Ensure the health and vibrancy of plants through proper watering,

fertilization, and pest control.

B. Landscape design & enhancement:

1\. Collaborate with the team to design and implement new plant layouts and

garden areas.

2\. Create visually appealing green spaces that enhance the resort's ambiance

and guest experience.

C. Seasonal planting & care:

1\. Help plan and execute seasonal plant rotations, ensuring the grounds are

beautiful year-round.

D. Sustainability practices:

1\. Participate in eco-friendly gardening practices such as composting, water

conservation, and using native plants.

E. Collaboration with hotel teams:

1\. Work with the resort's maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the

landscaping aligns with the overall hotel aesthetics.

F. Learning opportunities:
