Climate Policy Research - Internship

Energy Alternatives India (EAI) is seeking interns for its 'Climate Policy

Research' program. This internship focuses on studying and analyzing climate

policies and initiatives across different levels of governance - from central

and state governments to city administrations and public investment

organizations - both in India and internationally.

The goal is to generate actionable insights on how policies drive

decarbonization, sustainability investments, and climate innovation.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1\. Research and evaluate climate and sustainability policies, action plans,

and programs introduced by national, state, and municipal governments, as well

as public finance and investment bodies.

2\. Use AI and machine learning tools to organize, categorize, and analyze

policy data - identifying trends, gaps, and correlations across different

geographies and sectors.

3\. Create and publish high-impact content, including policy briefs, data-

driven insights, and comparative analyses for EAI's knowledge platforms and

reports.

4\. Compare Indian climate policies with international frameworks to highlight

opportunities for alignment and innovation.

5\. Work with EAI's research and data teams to synthesize findings into

structured outputs - such as dashboards, summaries, and thematic reports.
