Graphic Design - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1\. Developing graphic content for the marketing of the website

2\. Preparing work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials

3\. Planning concepts by studying information and materials

4\. Illustrating concepts by designing a rough layout of art and copy

regarding arrangement, size, type size & style, and related aesthetic concepts

5\. Obtaining approval of concept by submitting rough layouts for approval

6\. Preparing a finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing &

similar equipment, and purchasing from vendors

7\. Preparing the final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art

8\. Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance

requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting

malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and

evaluating new equipment

9\. Completing projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services,

printers, etc.

10\. Maintaining technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing

professional publications, and participating in professional societies

11\. Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as

needed
