1.Sourcing and Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost,
and reliability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring long-term
partnerships.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best
possible deals for the organization.
Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action when necessary to
address issues such as late deliveries or quality concerns.
Procurement Planning:
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, operations, finance) to
understand procurement needs and requirements.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the
organization's objectives and budget.
Forecast demand for materials and products, ensuring that inventory levels are
maintained at optimal levels.
Purchase Order Management:
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and
procedures.
Track the status of orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders, including
payment and delivery disputes.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
Monitor and control procurement expenses to ensure they are within the
allocated budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce
