Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
that address the needs and preferences of residents. Conduct assessments to
identify residents' social, emotional, and recreational needs and preferences.
2. Set achievable goals with residents and their families to promote
emotional and social well-being.
3. Provide individual and group counseling to residents dealing with issues
such as grief, loneliness, depression, and adjustment to life changes.
4. Involve residents in the planning and execution of therapy activities or
recreational activities to make them engaged and active.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine suitable
engagement strategies that align with residents' care plans.
