Shopify Web Designer & Developer - Internship

Role Overview

Build, customize, and optimize high-performance Shopify stores. Collaborate
with the marketing and content teams to create conversion-focused product
pages, landing pages, and eCommerce stores. Ensure mobile-first, responsive
design, fast site speed, and excellent user experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Design & develop Shopify stores from scratch
2. Customize Shopify themes, sections, products, collections, cart & checkout
3. Work with Shopify 2.0 architecture and Liquid coding
4. Implement HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/jQuery in Shopify themes
5. Build mobile-first, responsive designs
6. Install & configure Shopify apps (reviews, upsells, popups, chat,
subscriptions, SEO, speed)
7. Perform on-page SEO (meta tags, alt text, schema, URLs, collections
structure)
8. Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance
9. Configure payment gateways, shipping, taxes, checkout flows
10. Set up automations (order confirmations, abandoned cart emails, thank-you
pages)
11. Collaborate with marketing team for campaigns, landing pages, and product
launches
12. Perform regular maintenance, bug fixes, and updates
