Sales and Marketing - Internship

As a Sales and Marketing intern at TDKA Foods & Co, you will have the
opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of consumer
goods.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1)Retail Store Acquisition Premium Grocery and Gourmet
Identify, engage, and onboard premium grocery and gourmet retailers within the
assigned city to achieve monthly and quarterly distribution targets.
2)Commercial Negotiation and Contracting
Negotiate favorable commission structures, payment terms, and placement
agreements with retailers to maximise margin and ensure contractual
compliance.
3)Retail Pipeline Development
Build and maintain an exhaustive pipeline of target retailers and gourmet
stores, track outreach progress in CRM, and convert prospects to onboarded
accounts according to conversion targets.
4) In-store Placement and Visibility
Secure and maintain premium shelf and high footfall display placements (end-
caps, eye-level shelves, checkout zones) to drive product discovery and uplift
sales.
5) Local Co marketing Partnerships
Co create and execute joint social media and in store promotional campaigns
with retail partners to increase brand awareness, footfall, and sales lift.
6)Hyperlocal Influencer Activation
Identify, negotiate, and manage hyperlocal influencer partnerships to drive
targeted awareness and trial within the city, measuring reach and engagement
outcomes.
7)Field Brand Advocacy and Merchandising
Act as the TDKA in store brand ambassador: train retail staff on product
benefits, run demos/sampling where relevant, and ensure merchandising
standards are upheld.
8)Sales Operations and Financial Reconciliation
Maintain accurate retailer records and sales dashboards, prepare periodic
performance reports, manage invoice reconciliation, and ensure timely
collections and dispute resolution.
9)Identify new product demand
10)Inventory Management and Replenishment
Monitor sell through at onboarded stores, execute timely restocking and
logistics coordination to prevent OOS, and optimise reorder cycles to meet
demand forecasts.
