PHP Development - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

A. Website development & maintenance:
1. Assisting in developing and maintaining travel websites using PHP, MySQL,
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Fixing bugs, improving page speed, and ensuring smooth website
performance.

B. Build & modify travel modules:
1. Working on modules like tour packages, itinerary builder, booking forms,
user dashboard, blog system, etc.
2. Adding new travel-related features as guided by the tech team.

C. API integration:
1. Assisting in integrating third-party APIs such as maps, payment gateways,
and hotel/flight APIs (if applicable).
2. Testing and debugging API responses for accuracy.

D. Testing & quality assurance:
1. Performing functionality testing to ensure all travel package pages,
booking flows, and inquiry forms work flawlessly.
2. Reporting issues and working on resolutions.

E. Collaboration with design, SEO & content teams:
1. Working closely with the design and content teams to implement UI/UX
improvements.
2. Coordinating with the SEO team to ensure the website structure is SEO-
friendly.

F. Database management:
1. Assisting in creating, modifying, and optimizing MySQL databases for
storing package details, leads, itineraries, etc.

G. Learn & implement best practices:
1. Understanding travel industry workflows and building features that enhance
user experience and conversion rate.
2. Staying updated with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (if used
in the company).

H. Documentation:
1. Maintaining documentation of code changes, new modules, and features
added.
2. Helping create technical documentation for future developers.

I. Support daily tech operations:
1. Assisting in website updates, banner changes, page creation, and landing
pages for marketing campaigns.
2. Supporting A/B testing and performance optimization.
