Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Content Vetting & Review:
Assist in reviewing and vetting the content submitted by contributors to
ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
Coordinate with the editorial team to make necessary content adjustments or
suggestions.
2. Advertisement Revenue Generation:
Identify and approach potential advertisers, expanding the advertiser base for
the magazine.
Present advertising opportunities to local businesses and secure partnerships
to generate revenue for the magazine.
Track and manage performance-linked advertising goals.
3. Market Research & Expansion:
Conduct research on potential markets, advertisers, and local trends to align
the magazine's content with reader preferences and advertiser needs.
Assist in the magazine's community outreach programs and engagement
initiatives.
4. Liaison with Readers & Contributors:
Act as a point of contact for readers and contributors, ensuring effective
communication regarding their article submissions and feedback.
Understand reader expectations and requirements to improve content relevance
and engagement.
