Mechanical Engineering - Internship

This 6-month Mechanical Engineering Internship is designed to give young
engineers a comprehensive learning experience across all core functions of
industrial manufacturing - design, production, operations, and on-floor
inventory management.

Interns will be rotated across each department at defined intervals, ensuring
equal exposure to various aspects of product development, shop floor
execution, and process optimization.

This internship serves as a pipeline for Aslam Enterprises' Graduate Engineer
Trainee (GET) program, which grooms high-performing interns into future
engineering professionals and team leads.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1. Assisting the design team in developing, detailing, and improving product
designs using CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Creo).
2. Participating in production and assembly activities to understand
manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly methods.
3. Supporting on-floor inventory management - tracking materials, sub-
assemblies, and finished goods in coordination with operations staff.
4. Maintaining daily production documentation, including inspection records,
material movement logs, and assembly checklists.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover
between design, production, and dispatch.
6. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor by
identifying efficiency and quality improvement opportunities.
