Mechanical Engineering - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Vernier callipers: Measure external and internal dimensions with higher
accuracy than a ruler, down to 0.1 mm
2. Quality Methodologies: ISO 9001, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Lean
Manufacturing, TQM, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans.
3. Inspection & Testing: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT - Ultrasonic,
Radiography), Visual Inspection, Mechanical Testing, CMM (Coordinate Measuring
Machine).
4. Tools & Software: Minitab, SPC Software, Excel, CAD/CAM, Gauge R&R (MSA).
5. Standards & Compliance: ASME, AWS, IATF 16949, engineering drawing
understanding, and safety standards.
6. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Process Improvement: Identifying issues,
implementing corrective actions (CAPA)
