Law/Legal - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include (this is not an
exhaustive list):

1. Conducting research.
2. Handling back-office work.
3. Reading law textbooks, news, and judgments, and delivering presentations
on relevant sections.
4. Reviewing case laws and preparing notes.
5. Learning IT applications related to the legal industry and office
operations.
6. Preparing daily cause lists and boards, and issuing notifications.
7. Managing appointments, bookings, and notifications.
8. Handling expenses and preparing financial reports, as and when required.
9. Preparing attendance and related reports.
10. Analyzing case files and preparing memoranda on relevant legal issues.
11. Developing strong legal writing and attention-to-detail skills under
guidance.
12. Maintaining inward and outward registers and dispatch records for
documents and files.
13. Attending webinars, online courses, and seminars, and preparing reports.
14. Handling printing and scanning work.
15. Visiting courts and assisting associate advocates, as required.
16. Attending client meetings and observing court proceedings.
17. Assisting attorneys with legal research and drafting legal documents.
