Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. To make processes more efficient. To discover and analyze production
processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies. Redesign the
processes to improve speed, reduce errors, and lower costs.
2. Heavily involved in quality control to ensure products meet or exceed
quality standards. Implementing statistical tools like Six Sigma or Total
Quality Management (TQM),
3. Interactions between workers and machines to design ergonomic
workstations, improve worker productivity
