Finance - Internship

Job overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented accounts intern to support the finance
team in daily accounting and reconciliation activities. The role involves
assisting in payment reconciliation, collections, vendor management, and
financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of
accounting fundamentals and a keen interest in learning end-to-end financial
processes in a fast-growing organization.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Payment Reconciliation: Match and verify payments received with invoices
raised and record discrepancies, if any.
2. Payment Reminders & Follow-ups: Coordinate with clients for timely payment
collection and maintain communication logs.
3. Payment Collection: Ensure smooth collection of outstanding dues through
systematic follow-up and documentation.
4. Profit & Loss Statement: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly P&L
reports and analyzing variances.
5. Vendor Ledger Management: Maintain vendor ledgers, verify bills, and
ensure timely vendor payments.
6. Weekly MIS Reports: Prepare and present weekly management information
reports on collections, payments, and outstanding balances.
