Business Development (Sales) - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1\. Vendor identification & lead generation: Identify potential vendors across

industrial clusters (e.g., MRO, fabrication, machining, tools, hardware,

electrical, industrial consumables). Map industrial zones, markets, and

factories in assigned cities. Conduct field research to discover active

suppliers, manufacturers, and workshops. Maintain a daily list of newly

identified vendors with contact details.

2\. Vendor outreach (field + telephonic + Whatsapp + email): Visit vendors in

person within industrial hubs to explain the 1Vendor platform. Conduct daily

calls to vendor leads to pitch onboarding benefits. Send introduction

messages, brochures, and videos through WhatsApp. Schedule vendor meetings or

demos as needed.

3\. Platform pitching & value demonstration: Explain 1Vendor's value

proposition RFQ access, enterprise buyers, digital presence, and order

opportunities. Demonstrate platform features such as vendor dashboard, catalog

uploading, quote submission, and communication tools.

4\. Onboarding & account setup: Assist vendors in creating their 1Vendor

account.

Help upload basic information: GST, PAN, company details, product categories,

and service capabilities. Support vendors in listing products/services with

proper descriptions and pricing. Ensure their profile reaches at least 80-90%

completion.
