Field Sales - Internship

The sales executive is responsible for visiting all building-material supply

counters, registering them on C-Kart, procuring material from them for small-

quantity orders, taking orders from the counters, and also approaching

builders and construction firms for bulk requirements. He/she must handle

market data collection, vendor activation, and revenue generation through

volume sales.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Field visits & market penetration

1\. Visit all building material counters, such as cement, steel, aggregates,

sand, bricks, hardware, and pipe stores.

2\. Map and manage 200+ counters in the assigned territory.

3\. Understand local market prices, fast-moving SKUs, supplier contacts, and

competitor activity.

B. Vendor registration & acquisition

1\. Register supply counters on the C-Kart platform.

2\. Explain the benefits: regular orders, procurement support, faster

payments, price updates.

3\. Complete onboarding (documents, shop details, pricing, product range).

4\. Achieve a minimum of 5 new acquisitions per month.

C. Procurement from local shops (small quantity fulfillment)

1\. Procure materials from nearby counters to quickly serve small orders in

the region.

2\. Compare prices, negotiate rates, and ensure availability.

3\. Maintain good relationships with retailers to ensure a consistent supply.

D. Order generation & counter sales

1\. Take orders from registered counters for daily materials.

2\. Promote C-Kart wholesale prices and ensure repeat counter orders.

3\. Maintain 40 active counters every month.

E. Builder & contractor business development

1\. Approach builders, construction firms, developers, and infrastructure

contractors.

2\. Handle bulk requirements (cement, steel, aggregates, TMT).

3\. Coordinate with the category team for the best pricing and availability.

F. Reporting & data management

1\. Capture market insights: prices, new suppliers, material movement,

customer requirements.

2\. Maintain daily visit report (DVR).

3\. Update acquisition, volume, and active counter status.
