DLP Engineer - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to basic security alerts
generated by SIEM and XDR platforms under the guidance of senior analysts.
2. Support the management and review of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
and alerts.
3. Assist in maintaining the SCOPD application, including log reviews,
preliminary incident triage, and documentation.
4. Conduct initial investigations of low-severity security incidents and
escalate according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5. Perform daily health checks on assigned security tools to ensure proper
functionality.
6. Support threat detection activities, basic vulnerability reviews, and
routine security assessments.
7. Maintain accurate and updated incident records, reports, and dashboards.
8. Collaborate with senior team members to refine detection rules, playbooks,
and response procedures.
