Design Generalist - Internship

conversions in-store. This role is ideal for a hands-on design intern who is
eager to work at the intersection of product, space, and visual storytelling.
As a design intern (generalist), you will support the creation of physical
retail elements and the visual language that lives on them, contributing to
experiences that shape how shoppers engage with brands in-store.
You will collaborate closely with product development, visual design, and
strategy teams in a process-led, strategy-first environment. From early
research and concept exploration to 3D mockups and visual layouts, this role
offers exposure to the full lifecycle of retail touchpoint design.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support the design of retail displays, fixtures, and in-store elements
that align with brand identity and shopper behaviour.
2. Help translate strategic brand ideas into functional and engaging physical
touchpoints.
3. Create quick sketches, early explorations, and detailed 3D mockups to
visualise ideas. Contribute to moodboards, references, and research that
inform strong design directions.
4. Assist with visual layouts, icons, and graphic elements that add clarity,
personality, and consistency to retail spaces and touchpoints.
5. Work closely with product, visual, and strategy teams to ensure design
intent is carried through across form, graphics, and execution.
6. Participate in reviews and incorporate feedback to refine concepts.
7. Support research into materials, formats, trends, and shopper behaviour.
8. Help document design explorations and iterations as part of the project
workflow.
