Finance - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

A. Accounts payable (AP):

1\. Processing vendor invoices and ensuring proper documentation.

2\. Maintaining the AP tracker and preparing payment summaries.

3\. Coordinating with internal teams and vendors for invoice clarifications.

B. Accounts receivable (AR):

1\. Supporting in raising customer invoices.

2\. Tracking customer payments and following up on pending receivables.

3\. Assisting with AR reconciliations and maintaining MIS.

C. Tax and compliance:

1\. Assisting with TDS calculations, deductions, payment preparation, and

return filings.

2\. Supporting GST input/output reconciliation and monthly/quarterly filings.

3\. Ensuring compliance documentation is accurate and updated.

D. Accounting entries and month-end closing:

1\. Posting day-to-day accounting journal entries with accuracy.

2\. Assisting with accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments.

3\. Supporting the finance team in completing the month-end closing process.

E. Reconciliations and reporting:

1\. Supporting bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and expense audits.

2\. Preparing basic financial MIS and assisting with reports.

F. Other operational support:

1\. Maintaining organized documentation.

2\. Supporting financial audits.

3\. Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.
