Content and Social Media Marketing - Internship

About the role:
As a social media & design intern at The Compass Club, you'll work directly
with me to shape how our boutique travel brand shows up online. This role
blends creativity, design, storytelling, and real exposure to how curated,
experiential travel is built.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create and schedule social media content (Instagram posts, reels, and
stories)
2. Design on-brand visuals using templates, mood boards, and reference styles
3. Work on client presentations based on their traveller forms and our
standard layouts
4. Assist in drafting trip summaries, teasers, and visually appealing pitch
decks
5. Support research for new experiences, destinations, and brand ideas
6. Participate in behind-the-scenes tasks that show how curated travel is
crafted end-to-end.

The Compass Club is a boutique travel company that designs slow-paced, culturally immersive journeys for Indian and NRI travellers. We specialise in small groups, thoughtful storytelling, and experiences that go far beyond standard sightseeing, like art workshops, local neighbourhood walks, markets, food culture, and meaningful interactions with people and places. Our trips are curated end-to-end with close attention to detail, design, and authenticity. As we scale, we're building a young, creative team that enjoys research, content creation, branding, and travel planning. Interns will gain hands-on exposure across strategy, marketing, and real-world travel experience design. I'm Mosam Shah, founder of The Compass Club. After 12 years as a Chartered Accountant and legal advisor in investment banking and transaction advisory, I transitioned into building a boutique travel brand that curates slow, meaningful, culturally rich journeys.
