Role overview

Were looking for a **Full Stack AI/ML Developer Intern** who can build,

integrate, and reason about AI-powered systems end to end.

This role is hands-on and execution-heavy. Youll work on production-oriented

applications, not toy projects or tutorials.

What youll do

* Build and maintain full-stack applications using Python-based backend frameworks

* Design, train, and integrate AI/ML models into real application workflows

* Develop and consume REST APIs

* Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval

* Collaborate closely with product, design, and research teams

* Debug, iterate, and improve systems based on real usage

* Clearly document work and communicate progress

Required skills

* Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals

* Explicit working knowledge of **Django internals** (models, views, ORM, APIs)

* Emphasis on **Django specifically** , not just Python backends in general

* Experience building full-stack projects using Python

* Familiarity with backend frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django

* Working knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)

* Understanding of RESTful APIs

* Writing **clean, maintainable, well-documented code**

* Participation in **code reviews**

* Exposure to **testing practices**

* Ability to read, write, and reason about production-level code

* Ownership mindset and willingness to learn fast

Preferred skills (important, but not mandatory)

* Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks

* Prior **AI/ML projects** (academic / personal / internship) as a requirement

* Explicit exposure to **ML frameworks** :

1. TensorFlow

2. PyTorch

3. Scikit-learn

* Experience deploying applications or ML models

* Familiarity with cloud platforms or basic DevOps workflows

* **Empathy and communication skills** , especially when explaining technical concepts

* **Mentoring mindset** ability to guide, support, or review work of junior learners or peers

* Comfort working with students or non-technical stakeholders

Commitment requirement (read carefully)

This is a **long-term role** with intent to convert into a full-time position.
