About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong WordPress Developer to build and

maintain our Wealth Management platform. The ideal candidate should have deep

coding knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, APIs, and custom post types),

with an ability to create scalable, secure, and high-performance websites.

You will work closely with our design team, who will handle UI/UX, while your

focus will be on coding, functionality, speed, and backend integration.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using best practices

and clean, modular code.

2\. Create and modify themes, plugins, and custom post types adhering to

WordPress coding standards.

3\. Implement custom functionalities and workflows beyond default WordPress

capabilities.

4\. Integrate front-end designs (provided by designers) into functional,

responsive WordPress templates.

5\. Optimize site performance, security, and SEO compatibility.

6\. Work with APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, financial data

feeds, user login systems).

7\. Manage theme installation, updates, and plugin configurations.

8\. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and

accessibility compliance.

9\. Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and maintain version control

(Git).

10\. Stay current with the latest WordPress releases, PHP versions, and

development standards.

Technical Skills Required

1\. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.

2\. In-depth understanding of WordPress core, theme hierarchy, hooks, and

APIs.

3\. Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, widgets, and

custom plugins.

4\. Ability to convert Figma/PSD files to fully functional WordPress sites.

5\. Familiarity with child/parent theme architecture and best practices.

6\. Proficiency with WordPress Multisite setups (preferred).

7\. Good understanding of REST API, AJAX, and JSON.

8\. Knowledge of security, caching, and performance optimization techniques.

9\. Version control tools: Git / GitHub / Bitbucket.

10\. Experience with Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), or similar

frameworks is a plus.
