Research Analyst - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Market & Industry Research:

1\. Conducting qualitative and quantitative research on blockchain protocols,

decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, infrastructure projects, and emerging Web3

trends.

2\. Tracking market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and technological

advancements to identify opportunities and risks.

3\. Preparing concise daily or weekly insights for the founders and investment

team.

B. Data Analysis & Reporting:

1\. Analyzing data from on-chain metrics, venture funding trends, and

ecosystem activity to produce actionable insights.

2\. Developing and maintaining dashboards or research databases to monitor

project performance, partnerships, and ecosystem developments.

3\. Supporting the preparation of internal reports, pitch decks, and strategic

memos.

C. Investment & Partnership Support:

1\. Assisting in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities by

gathering key data points, analyzing tokenomics, and summarizing business

models.

2\. Supporting the due diligence process by preparing company profiles, market

maps, and industry comparisons.

3\. Collaborating with internal teams to align research outputs with

partnership and investment strategies.

D. Communication & Coordination:

1\. Working closely with the founders to prepare research briefs and

communication materials for meetings with partners, investors, and portfolio

companies.

2\. Summarizing complex information into clear, actionable takeaways suitable

for executive-level discussions.

E. Event & Ecosystem Monitoring:

1\. Tracking major Web3 events, hackathons, and conferences to identify

emerging projects and networking opportunities.

2\. Representing SIG Labs at select events (virtual or in-person), collecting

insights and maintaining relationships with ecosystem participants.

F. Administrative & Organizational Support:

1\. Maintaining organized records of research findings, reports, and

communications.

2\. Handling sensitive data and research material with discretion and

professionalism.
