Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Internship

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate SEO Trainee who is eager to learn and grow in

the field of Search Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

This role is ideal for individuals who want to understand modern search trends

such as Google's SGE, Voice Search Optimization, Featured Snippets, and AI-

based search systems.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Assist in keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimization.

Perform website audits and recommend technical SEO improvements.

Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, internal links, and URLs.

Support off-page SEO activities like link building, outreach, and submissions.

Track website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console,

and SEMRush.

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

Research question-based keywords and conversational queries.

Create and optimize content for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, and AI-

generated answers.

Structure content using schema markup for enhanced search visibility.

Understand user intent and help build AI-friendly, conversational content

formats.

Work on voice search optimization strategies (Alexa, Google Assistant).

Content & Reporting

Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly and SGE-friendly

content.

Prepare performance reports and track keyword ranking improvements.

Stay updated with new SEO/AEO trends, AI search behaviours, and algorithm

updates.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of SEO concepts and tools.

Understanding of SGE, Featured Snippets, and Voice Search (added advantage).

Familiarity with keyword research, sitemap basics, and on-page elements.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Good written communication skills.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new search technologies.
