Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Regularly update website content (blogs, service pages, FAQs, case
studies).
2\. Ensure website is SEO-ready (meta tags, headings, internal linking,
keyword placement).
3\. Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics / Search Console and
prepare weekly insights.
4\. Improve website engagement (bounce rate, time on site, CTA placement).
5\. Coordinate with developer (if any) for minor website changes and landing
pages.
6\. Keyword research using tools like Ubersuggest, Google Keyword Planner,
Ahrefs (trial/free).
7\. Optimize existing pages for local and service-based keywords (e.g., CA
services, GST filing, startups).
8\. Create and optimize Google Business Profile posts and listings.
9\. Build backlinks via directories, forums, business listings, and guest
posting opportunities.
10\. Track keyword ranking and prepare a simple SEO progress report.
11\. Draft SEO-friendly blogs, short articles, and website content (with AI
tools + human review).
12\. Repurpose website content into: LinkedIn posts, short educational posts,
FAQs and explainer content.
13\. Maintain a content calendar for website and social platforms.
14\. Ensure all content aligns with firm's professional and compliance-
friendly tone.
15\. Manage LinkedIn page and other relevant platforms (if required).
16\. Schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, Zoho Social.
17\. Promote website blogs and service pages through social media.
18\. Engage with relevant professional content and communities.
19\. Track reach, engagement, and clicks to website.
20\. Assist in setting up basic paid campaigns (Google Ads / LinkedIn Ads - if
applicable).
21\. Create and test landing pages for lead capture.
22\. Work on email marketing campaigns using tools like Mailchimp, Zoho
Campaigns.
23\. Maintain and update lead data in CRM or Excel/Sheets.
24\. Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements.
25\. Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, Jasper, etc.) for content drafts,
creatives, and ideas.
26\. Create social media creatives using Canva / Adobe Express.
27\. Automate routine marketing tasks where possible.
28\. Stay updated with latest digital marketing trends and tools and suggest
adoption.
29\. Prepare weekly marketing performance reports (traffic, leads, content
published).
30\. Maintain documentation of SEO activities, content links, and campaign
learnings.
31\. Share actionable insights and improvement suggestions with the firm.
32\. Continuously learn digital marketing best practices relevant to
professional services.
33\. Experiment with new formats (short videos, reels, carousel posts,
newsletters).
34\. Take ownership of assigned marketing KPIs.
