Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in stock counting at warehouses, stores, and offices ensure
accurate item verification and documentation
2. Support reconciliation of physical stock with system records; highlight
variances and prepare variance reports
3. Verify purchase invoices, GRNs, and supporting documents for audit trails
4. Assist in reviewing accounting entries, ledgers, and postings under
supervision
5. Check internal controls related to stock movement, storage practices, and
documentation flow
6. Collect, organize, and maintain audit evidence such as bills, vouchers,
and acknowledgement slips
7. Support fixed asset verification, tagging, and updating asset registers
8. Help auditors in sampling, data extraction, and formatting audit working
files
9. Prepare basic MIS reports for management stock status, mismatches,
compliance observations
10. Monitor adherence to SOPs during stock handling, warehousing, and issuing
processes
11. Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and accounts teams for required
data and clarifications
12. Assist in compliance checks: GST documentation, invoice sequence, vendor
files, etc.
13. Maintain confidentiality of financial and operational data at all times
