Research & Communications (Global Literature) - Internship
A Box Of Stories
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Publishing research & outreach:
1\. Communicate with publishers and literary agents to gather information,
secure publication rights, and facilitate the inclusion of selected works in
our subscription boxes.
B. Academic research & outreach:
1\. Research and compile a comprehensive list of professors, heads of
departments, and tutors from leading universities worldwide that offer
creative writing and publishing courses.
2\. Initiate contact with these academic professionals to invite them to
participate in the project as consultants or advisors, facilitating the
exchange of knowledge and expertise.
C. Literary community engagement:
1\. Identify and list independent bookstores in various regions, with a focus
on those known for supporting local and emerging authors.
2\. Reach out to these indie bookstores to collaborate on curating a list of
upcoming authors from selected countries, aiming to discover and promote new
literary talents.
D. Content and marketing support:
1\. Assist in the creation of engaging content for marketing materials,
including author bios, book summaries, and promotional narratives.
2\. Support the curation process by providing insights into the cultural and
historical context of selected works.
