Accounting Software QA (SaaS & Double-Entry Systems) - Internship

HelloBooks.ai is building an AI-powered accounting platform designed for
modern businesses and finance teams. We are looking for detail-oriented
Accounting Interns who want hands-on exposure to testing real-world SaaS
accounting systems and understanding how core accounting principles are
implemented inside production software.

This internship offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of
accounting, taxation, and technology, validating financial workflows the way
real accountants use them. You'll collaborate closely with our QA, product,
and engineering teams to ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability across
the HelloBooks.ai platform.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Test end-to-end accounting workflows, including journal entries, ledgers,
invoicing, GST, TDS, and financial reports
2. Validate double-entry accounting logic and data integrity
3. Compare expected vs actual outputs and identify functional gaps
4. Log bugs with clear documentation, steps to reproduce, and evidence
5. Test the platform from an accountant's perspective and suggest usability
improvements
6. Assist in creating test cases, validation documents, and user guides
7. Work cross-functionally with product analysts and developers to improve
compliance and accuracy
