Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Keyword Research:

1\. Identify relevant, high-volume, and low-competition keywords for content

and pages.

2\. Analyze competitor keywords and strategies

B. On-Page SEO Optimization:

1\. Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt tags, and URLs.

2\. Ensure internal linking is logical and supports SEO.

3\. Content optimization: ensure content is SEO-friendly (readability, keyword

placement, structure)

C. Off-Page SEO & Link Building Support:

1\. Assist in finding link-building opportunities (guest posts, directories,

outreach)

2 . Support directory submissions, local SEO tasks.

D. Technical SEO:

1\. Perform audits to find technical issues (crawl errors, broken links, site

speed, mobile usability)

2\. Work with web developers/designers to fix issues.

E. Analytics & Reporting:

1\. Monitor website performance: traffic, rankings, conversions using tools

like Google Analytics, Search Console etc.

2\. Create periodic reports (weekly / monthly) showing performance, insights,

areas for improvement.

F. Content Collaboration:

1\. Help the content team/photo/video team align with SEO best practices. For

example, writing or optimizing articles, blog posts, landing page content.

2\. Suggest topics based on keyword research.

G. Staying Updated with SEO Trends:

1\. Keep track of algorithm updates, industry news, SEO tools.

2\. Learn new tools and methods.

3\. Adapt strategies accordingly.
