Finance & Accounting - Internship
Progressive Foundation
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, bills, and
vouchers, in accounting software or Excel sheets.
2\. Assist in maintaining cash books and project-wise expenditure records.
3\. Support in preparing monthly reconciliation statements and verifying
supporting documents.
4\. Help compile financial data for donor reports and internal audits.
5\. Check vendor bills and ensure timely processing of payments with proper
approvals.
6\. Organize receipts and digital records for audit and compliance purposes.
7\. Coordinate with the Admin and Program teams to collect expense details
from field offices.
8\. Assist in preparing draft budgets, financial summaries, and MIS reports.
9\. Learn about fund flow management, donor compliance, and NGO accounting
systems under supervision.
10\. Participate in team meetings to understand ongoing financial and project
management activities.
