Accounting & Bookkeeping - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Data Entry & Record Maintenance
1\. Enter daily financial transactions in Tally/Excel/accounting software.
2\. Maintain vouchers, receipts, and invoices in proper order.
3\. Update vendor and customer ledgers regularly.
B. Bank & Cash Management Support
1\. Assist in daily bank reconciliation.
2\. Record cash expenses and prepare petty cash statements.
3\. Help verify payment and deposit entries.
C. Invoice & Billing Work
1\. Prepare and issue sales and purchase invoices.
2\. Cross-check GST and TDS details on bills before entry.
3\. Support in matching invoices with purchase orders.
D. Taxation & Compliance Assistance
1\. Assist the senior accountant in GST, TDS documentation.
2\. Help compile data for monthly returns and reports.
3\. File and organize compliance-related paperwork.
E. Monthly Closing Support
1\. Support in preparing trial balance and expense summaries.
2\. Help with ledger reconciliation and error checking.
3\. Coordinate with the finance team for month-end reports.
F. Reporting & Documentation
1\. Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports as guided.
2\. Maintain and update Excel trackers for income and expenses.
3\. Ensure timely backup and documentation of all entries.
G. Learning & Team Collaboration
1\. Participate in training sessions on accounting tools and systems.
2\. Coordinate with HR, admin, and finance teams for data collection.
3\. Report daily progress to the Accounts Manager or Senior Accountant.
