Business Development (Sales) - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Lead Generation
Identify potential clients among NMSMEs using online platforms, LinkedIn,
directories, and research tools.
Build a strong prospect pipeline for consulting and transformation programs.
Generate leads via cold calling, emailing, and social outreach.
2\. Market Research
Study market trends, SME pain-points, and competitor offerings.
Prepare insights and reports to support business development strategies.
3\. Client Outreach & Follow-Up
Reach out to prospects with structured communication.
Schedule discovery calls and meetings for the senior consultant.
Follow up regularly and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
4\. Sales Support
Assist the senior BD team in presentations and proposals.
Prepare basic proposal drafts tailored to client needs.
Support in negotiation and deal-closure follow-ups.
5\. Relationship Management
Maintain strong communication with potential clients.
Manage lead data in CRM or spreadsheets with 100% accuracy.
6\. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily activity logs: outreach, calls, responses, and pipeline status.
Submit weekly performance reports and suggest improvements.
7\. Internal Coordination
Collaborate with the training, marketing, and operations teams.
Understand Skaleup programs deeply to explain value to prospects.
8\. Learning & Development
Attend internal training sessions on sales, business transformation, and
leadership frameworks.
Improve communication, negotiation, and research skills throughout the
internship.
