Double Entry Software Testing - SAAS Accounting Experience Required - Internship

Meru Technosoft is looking for detail-oriented and motivated Accounting

Interns who are keen to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-

world applications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the

intersection of finance and technology, contributing to the testing and

improvement of our in-house accounting software solutions. Candidates with

hands-on experience or familiarity with SaaS-based accounting tools such as

QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Xero will be given preference.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Financial Workflow Testing:

Collaborate with the QA team to test various financial modules and accounting

workflows integrated within the software.

Validation of Accounting Features:

Verify the accuracy and reliability of journal entries, ledger postings,

invoice processing, GST calculations, TDS deductions, and financial reporting

features.

Bug Reporting & Documentation:

Identify inconsistencies by comparing expected and actual results; document

bugs and prepare test logs with detailed feedback.

End-User Simulation:

Evaluate the platform from an accountant's perspective and suggest usability

improvements based on your functional understanding.

Documentation Support:

Contribute to the preparation of user guides, help documents, and test cases

for future reference and regression testing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product analysts and software developers to enhance feature

accuracy, compliance, and user experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

1\. Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

2\. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and Indian taxation

(GST, TDS).

3\. Familiarity with SaaS-based accounting tools like QuickBooks, Zoho Books,

Xero, etc.

4\. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

5\. Good communication and documentation skills.

6\. Interest in technology-driven financial solutions.
