Job Description: STEM Trainer (Robotics)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced STEM Trainer to join our team

and inspire the next generation of learners in the fields of Science,

Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The ideal candidate will

possess a strong background in STEM disciplines, along with the ability to

design engaging and interactive learning experiences for students. As a STEM

Trainer, you will play a key role in fostering a love for STEM subjects and

helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation

skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction and Facilitation:

Deliver engaging and interactive STEM lessons in a classroom or workshop

setting.

Explain complex concepts in an accessible manner and encourage student

participation through discussions and group activities.

Demonstrations and Experiments:

Set up and conduct science experiments, engineering challenges, and

technological demonstrations that captivate students' interest.

Explain the scientific principles behind experiments and encourage students to

observe and analyse results.

Technology Integration:

Incorporate digital tools, simulations, and educational technology to enhance

learning experiences and demonstrate real-world applications of STEM concepts.

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:

Engage students in activities that promote problem-solving, critical thinking,

and creativity.

Guide students through analysing problems, exploring multiple solutions, and

making evidence-based decisions.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Organise group projects and activities that encourage collaboration,

communication, and teamwork among students.

Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that values diverse

perspectives.

Assessment and Progress Tracking:

Assess student understanding through quizzes, assignments, and practical

assessments.

Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their grasp of STEM

concepts.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in STEM education, teaching

methodologies, and instructional technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology,

Engineering, Mathematics) or related discipline.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in

an engaging and comprehensible manner.

Proven experience working with robotics systems, including programming,

assembly, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with simulation software and virtual training environments is a

plus.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in curriculum execution.

Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is desirable.
