Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Making processes more efficient by discovering and analysing production
processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.
2. Redesigning processes to improve speed, reduce errors, and lower costs.
3. Being heavily involved in quality control to ensure products meet or
exceed quality standards.
4. Implementing statistical tools like Six Sigma or Total Quality Management
(TQM).
5. Optimizing human labor and interactions between workers and machines to
design ergonomic workstations and improve worker productivity.
6. Reducing manufacturing costs without compromising on quality by analysing
cost structures.
