Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Assisting in the groundwork for an upcoming social enterprise, including
design, management, supervision, and coordination of all community development
activities, e.g.:
a. Agriculture, gardening, horticulture
b. Career counseling (for higher education or jobs in India and abroad)
c. Health promotion & disease prevention
d. Provision of clean water
e. Household repairs (woodworking, painting, fabrication, electrical, metal,
equipment, masonry)
2\. Educating and training students and candidates from financially
underprivileged families and children of shaheed jawans, veer naris, etc., in
the above-mentioned activities as well as science, technology, computers, and
the arts (including music), using educational materials and aids developed in-
house.
3\. Promoting frugal and disruptive innovation for the above objectives.
4\. Maintaining accounts, ledgers, and progress-related documentation for all
activities using a computer-based system.

I am an epidemiologist, freelance global public health specialist, social entrepreneur, musician and innovator. I completed my MBBS & MD in preventive & social medicine and the doctor of public health (DrPH) in infectious disease epidemiology. I have worked in tuberculosis (TB) & infectious disease research, and conducted program audits for TB, malaria, and HIV/AIDS in several countries. Currently, I am involved in establishing a multi-faceted social enterprise in Maharashtra. I provide career guidance, mentoring, and counselling to school and college students. I am researching the scientific basis of ancient Hindustani Classical Music traditions, including the traditional music instruments of India, and the connections between music, health, and spiritual well-being.
