Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: (Shopify Websites)
1\. Conduct keyword research for Shopify product pages, collection pages, and
blog content.
2\. Optimize product titles, descriptions, meta titles, and meta descriptions
as per SEO best practices.
3\. Optimize collection pages including headings, content structure, and
internal linking.
4\. Implement image SEO by adding proper alt text, file naming, and image
optimization.
5\. Ensure correct heading hierarchy (H1-H6) across Shopify pages.
6\. Assist in managing duplicate content issues (product variants,
collections, canonical URLs).
7\. Work with Shopify sitemap.xml and robots.txt for proper indexing.
8\. Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google
Analytics.
9\. Track keyword rankings and prepare basic SEO performance reports.
10\. Assist in technical SEO tasks including page speed optimization and
mobile SEO checks.
11\. Support off-page SEO activities such as product listings, citations, and
basic link building.
12\. Perform competitor analysis for Shopify-based eCommerce websites.
13\. Follow SEO SOPs, Google guidelines, and internal quality standards.
14\. Coordinate with content and marketing teams in a remote work environment.
15\. Continuously learn and implement eCommerce SEO best practices.
