Supply Chain & Logistics Operations - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1\. Deliver the highest levels of quality while remaining customer-oriented

and creating value for customers and Hapag-Lloyd

2\. Plan and execute transportation from and to predesignated points as per

shipments created by CS and ED

3\. Check expected import arrivals and plan transportation for timely

evacuation

4\. Gather equipment forecasts from sales through ED and inform the transport

desk to plan movements

5\. Allot transport movements and monitor follow-ups with transporters to

ensure timely completion

6\. Record and document reasons for delays in transportation movements

7\. Keep ED informed about movement status to evaluate alternate options

8\. Maintain and update the vendor matrix

9\. Update ICCL reports with clear reasons for deviations

10\. Liaise with vendors to resolve and close disputes

11\. Create work orders for pending movements as per the TRWW0101 report

12\. Maintain nil VIM pendency through timely closures

13\. Handle customer phone calls and manage case-related correspondence

14\. Handle booking-related queries through calls and emails

15\. Act as the single point of entry for shipment planning and coordinate

with operations and sales teams for all required communication

16\. Follow standard processes and comply with new requirements communicated

by management

17\. Build strong customer rapport to ensure better service delivery

18\. Complete all functional HIP training within defined timelines

19\. Adhere to KPIs for timely work order creation case resolution and Cisco

call handling

20\. Link and delink work orders as per CS requests for shipment amendments

21\. Coordinate across departments including TD, CS, ED, GSC and POL to

resolve operational issues
