Loan Settlement Advisor - Internship

The sales intern is responsible for converting distressed borrowers into

enrolled clients by educating them on the settlement process and building

trust.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1\. Engaging with leads who have expressed interest in debt relief.

2\. Explaining the "settlement" concept clearly, how we help reduce the

principal amount and stop creditor harassment.

3\. Analyzing a prospect's debt-to-income ratio to see if they are a good fit

for our programs.

4\. Addressing fears regarding legal notices or visits from recovery agents

(using our standard scripts).

5\. Explaining the impact of settlement on credit scores and how our process

manages that long-term.

6\. Clearly explaining our fee structure and the timeline of the settlement

journey.

7\. Ensuring the prospect provides their latest credit report and loan

statements.

8\. Guiding the client through the digital signing of the enrollment contract.

9\. Ensuring all client data is accurately captured before passing the case to

the Operations/Legal team.

10\. Follow-up Pipeline: Maintaining a rigorous follow-up schedule for

prospects who are "on the fence."

11\. Keeping the CRM updated with detailed notes on client pain points and

financial history.

12\. Filtering out leads that do not meet our criteria (e.g., secured loans or

very small debt amounts).

13\. Meeting weekly and monthly enrollment targets (number of clients signed

up).

14\. Contributing to "Sales Script" refinements based on common feedback from

prospects.
