We focus on developing advanced robotic systems that integrate mobility, manipulation, perception, and autonomy to operate reliably in real-world environments. Our work includes the design and development of mobile robotic platforms, including single-arm and dual-arm robots capable of autonomous and semi-autonomous operation. We build robotic manipulation systems for picking, placing, and handling objects in structured and semi-structured settings, as well as robotic perception and navigation systems that combine vision, sensing, mapping, localization, and motion planning. Interns will gain hands-on experience working with robot hardware and mechanical systems, sensors and actuators, embedded electronics, robot control, navigation and manipulation software, as well as system integration, testing, and deployment in real operational environments.
