Vediko

Vediko is an organic food brand working with more than 100 farmers across Northern India. It is a community initiative pointed towards giving fair business opportunities to farmers. Vediko plans to become a connecting scaffold between consumers and farmers. All Vediko products are made by a group of 100+ farmers. The majority of farmers have less awareness of soil mistreatment by chemically treated fertilizers and pesticides. Inflated input costs along with natural catastrophes have been the bane of farmers in the form of crippling debts. Farmers getting compelled to give more yield and the absence of infrastructure to spread awareness about organic farming has prompted more use of chemical manures and pesticides.
