Video Game Marketing - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1\. Continuous Learning: Study indie game marketing, Steam optimization,
wishlist strategies, platform algorithms, and industry best practices. Present
weekly learnings and insights.
2\. Marketing Strategy & Planning: Create monthly and quarterly marketing
plans with clear KPIs. Develop comprehensive marketing calendars.
3\. Platform Management: Build and optimize Steam page, itch.io page, social
media accounts (Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit), Discord community, and
email lists.
4\. Content Creation: Write compelling marketing copy, blog posts, dev
diaries, press releases, and social media content. Create engaging posts
showcasing game features, behind-the-scenes development, and atmospheric
content.
5\. Community Building & Engagement: Manage and grow communities across all
platforms. Respond to player questions, run engagement campaigns, and build
genuine audience connections.
6\. Press & Influencer Outreach: Research and compile media contacts, write
and send press releases, coordinate review copies and press access for gaming
publications and content creators.
7\. Launch Campaign Execution: Design and execute comprehensive pre-launch and
launch day campaigns. Manage beta testing program, collect and organize player
feedback.
8\. QA & Product Support: Help test game builds, identify and report bugs,
organize player feedback, and assist with feature prioritization (small studio
- • everyone contributes!).
