Digital Marketing - Internship
Crux Game Studios
Want to learn how games find their audience? We're looking for a marketing
intern to work on the marketing strategy for a game launching on Steam in June
2026. You'll learn game marketing from the ground up, build communities,
create content, and execute a real launch campaign. No experience required -
just passion for games and strong writing skills.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Learn indie game marketing, Steam optimization, and platform strategies
through self-study and weekly presentations
2\. Create monthly marketing plans and content calendars to build toward
launch
3\. Build and manage our Steam page, social media (Twitter, TikTok, YouTube),
Discord community, and email lists
4\. Write compelling marketing copy, dev blogs, press releases, and social
content
5\. Reach out to gaming press, influencers, and content creators
6\. Run community engagement campaigns and manage player interactions
7\. Coordinate beta testing, collect feedback, and help with QA (we're a small
team!)
8\. Track performance metrics and optimize based on results
