Technical Assistant - Internship

The TA support role is nestled within the 'Operations Team,' and has a big

influence on the WalkAbout Learner and Guide experience. This team ensures

that each Guide is able to conduxct his class smoothly and enable learners to

interact and participate in classes confidently. WalkAbout is growing rapidly

so we are looking for someone who can pick up on new systems quickly, thrive

in ambiguity, and enjoy creating relationships with who we serve. This role

will be cross-trained in all 'Support Team' responsibilities.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1\. Becoming proficient in all support team responsibilities.

2\. Marking attendance for all learners in class.

3\. Creating support tickets for learners who need additional help.

4\. Managing and monitoring the class Zoom chat.

5\. Sending after-class notes so the class can be marked as complete.

6\. Managing the guide dashboard for new guides and helping them launch and

end classes.

7\. Creating collateral during class for the marketing team.

8\. Creating response templates based on frequently asked questions.

9\. Addressing technical queries from learners during class.

10\. Working with the scheduling team to assign a team of TA interns to

different guides or classes.
