Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Work in US Shift (8pm to 5am)
2\. Do the i9 verification process (training will be given)
\- Review over 400 existing official documents stored on DocuSign for
completeness and accuracy.
\- Identify employees who do not yet have an official form on record and
create/send new DocuSign I-9 forms to them.
\- Build and maintain a tracker to monitor the I-9 status of each employee,
including who has received, completed, signed, and submitted their forms.
\- For completed forms, review uploaded employee documents (List A, B, or C)
to confirm validity:
o List A: Documents establishing both identity and work authorization (e.g.,
U.S. passport, permanent resident card).
o List B: Identity-only documents (e.g., driver's license, state ID).
o List C: Work authorization documents (e.g., birth certificate, Social
Security card, I-179, I-94, DHS-issued documents).
\- Validate the documents for authenticity and expiration; flag any expired,
missing, or invalid ones.
\- Once validated, request approval and sign off on the employer section of
the I-9 form in DocuSign.
\- Download and store finalized I-9s and supporting documents.
\- Cross-check existing I-9 records in ADP with DocuSign records to ensure no
duplicates or missing files.
\- For verified employees, upload the approved I-9 documents into ADP under
the correct employee profile.
\- Prioritize current employees and new hires for review and completion. For
historical employees, verify and archive I-9s in ADP; flag and report any
unverifiable forms for further review.
