Social Media Marketing - Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1\. Content Creation Support

Assist in creating engaging posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook,

LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

Help in designing visuals, reels, and short videos using tools like Canva or

CapCut.

Write catchy captions, hashtags, and post copy aligned with brand voice.

Research current trends, sounds, and formats to suggest fresh content ideas.

2\. Content Scheduling & Publishing

Schedule and publish content using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer,

or Later.

Maintain the monthly social media calendar.

Ensure all posts go live on time and align with campaigns or events.

3\. Community Management

Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across all platforms.

Engage with followers (likes, replies, reshares) to build an active community.

Escalate customer queries or negative feedback to the marketing team.

4\. Analytics & Reporting

Track engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, reach, followers).

Compile weekly/monthly performance reports.

Identify top-performing posts and suggest content improvements.

5\. Campaign & Trend Research

Study competitor pages and analyze their strategies.

Stay updated with the latest social media trends, features, and algorithms.

Support campaign brainstorming sessions with creative input.

6\. Collaboration & Coordination

Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and content writers.

Assist during shoots or content creation days.

Ensure brand consistency in tone, look, and feel across platforms.

7\. Ad & Promotion Assistance (if applicable)

Support in running paid campaigns (boosts, lead forms, etc.).

Collect data on ad performance and audience reach.

8\. Administrative Tasks

Maintain content folders, caption databases, and asset libraries.

Update social media trackers and project sheets regularly.
